Hunting ghosts in a haunted cabin, fully prompted gameplay running on a Gaussian Splatting scene from Martin Casado. Bitmagic V3 ships to first users any day now, and for the first time, the AI actually does what people ask it to.

I'm thinking of a game where I am hunting ghosts in a cozy, but haunted, cabin. BOOM! What you see here is running in Bitmagic V3, completely prompted gameplay, using a really cool Gaussian Splatting scene that was kindly provided for me by Martin Casado as a response to a post on X.

We're gearing for release of Bitmagic V3 to the first lucky users any day now. I believe it will change everything. It'll change how games are made, and it'll bring real game development to everyone's reach. I showcased Bitmagic at some Tech Week events last week, and it was a lot of fun! For the first time, the AI is able to do what people are asking for.

I saw someone create a game where you play as Elvis running a dog grooming salon in Las Vegas! I saw someone asking for a game where there's a sword in the middle of a lake that will change your life if you retrieve it - and indeed that worked out beautifully!

Combining Gaussian Splatting and game prompting is going to be huge. We're currently scratching the surface of possibilities regarding Gaussian Splats. We're seeing such fast progress across the industry that I'm expecting we'll soon be able to author generative GS worlds from a single prompt and I don't think world modifications are far behind either.

Keep sending me any cool worlds you have! I'm looking for something that could serve as basis for some really cool gameplay but also something larger so that we can tests on visibilty / performance etc optimizations. | 24 comments on LinkedIn
