Bitmagic's Recursive AI Engine Improves Itself

Our AI agents know when they're working around a missing API to get the job done — and now they propose the engine improvements to fix it. Prompt something today that doesn't quite work, and tomorrow it might, because the engine improved itself overnight.

Bitmagic is the world's most advanced AI-driven game engine and our latest step forward is a recursive AI system where the engine codes itself to be better all the time. It's early, but it's already been live for a while and proven to work.

Our AI agents know precisely what is happening under the hood. They know what people are trying to build, and they know when they have difficulties performing the requests. Not only when they fail, but also when they have to work around a missing API to get the job done. They know what engine features would make it easier to do their job.

Imagine you try to prompt something, and it doesn't quite work as you wanted. This happens with vibe coding all the time, and it's frustrating. What if you could rest assured that if you come back tomorrow, the same thing will likely succeed because the AI recognized the issue and improved itself overnight to be able to better serve you? That's the long term promise of this tech!

One of the most exciting aspects of the recursive AI learning is that the engine, the LLM, the whole system will improve faster as we have more usage. The more users we add to the platform, the faster it improves.

We're living in the future!

Here's a post from our CTO Markus Hjort explaining the tech in more detail:
